Transforming the night

Let There Be Light

At the heart of everything we do is an understanding of the location we are transforming from darkness. This is a clear example of the incredible surroundings being used to their maximum as water is used to double the impact from this reveal.

Each installation is chosen to cover a part of the narrative. This is one of the members of the courtroom scene where the animals are part of the jury to judge Alice.

CELTIC MYTHS AND LEGENDS 2022

WELCOME TO A WORLD OF LIGHT, MYTHOLOGY AND SPECTACLE

This year Loughcrew Lights is exploring the myths that permiated the very heart of the Celtic world. From ancient gods to celebrated heroes, the best known tales are brought to life in new and dazzling ways as we look to wow the viewer with incredible artistic diplays that inspire, educate and entertain the eyes and ears. Make sure to book your spot and not miss out on this incredible journey!

Imagination Meets Illumination

We have always been fascinated by light, with proof of this being everywhere. From the alignment of Newgrange, Stonehenge, The Pyramids to other historical monument across the world light has been a central feature in our culture, survival and very existence. There is magice in light, and this magic is what we aim to capture to spark imaginations while also looking to intertwine this with history and myth to leave you with an unforgettable experience, one where you can make your own and share with your nearest and dearest.

Last year we focused on the theme of Alice in Wonderland, where this fantastical adventure was brought to life across the beautiful landscape gardens at Loughcrew. This year we bring the narrative home and look at immersing ourselves in myth and legend through light, sound, shadow and interactive installation create a spectacle that will dazzle you and set fire to your imaginations.
